Crimestoppers Down Under

Canadian Crimestoppers programs including our Regional one are joining
the global initiative to keep the 2006 Commonwealth Games safe.
Crimestoppers will be taking tips up to and during the games which
are being held in Melbourne, Australia starting March 15th.
Chair of the National Association Ralph Page says all 106 Canadian
programs will be taking part.
Page says it’s an honour to play a role in the world-wide intelligence
base for the International event.
He adds in today’s world, crime and terrorism seem to go hand in
hand.
