There is now a 2-way tie for first place in the Superior International Junior Hockey League.
The Thunder Bay North Stars doubled up the visiting Wisconsin Wilderness 8-4 Wednesday.
The Stars fired 54-shots on Wilderness goalie Jon MacLean, while Dan Usiski was the only player to record multiple goals with 2.
Thunder Bay and Fort Frances are now tied for top spot with 35 points.
Dryden and Wisconsin are 1-point back.
The Ice Dogs lone game this weekend is Saturday at home against Sioux Lookout.
