CT Scan services at the Dryden Regional Health Centre have been suspended until further notice.
On Saturday, severe cold weather caused a break in the humidification water supply in the Diagnostic Imaging department – and that resulted in damage to the CT Scan unit.
Officials are now trying to determine the extent of the damage as well as a repair plan.
Hospital officials say those requiring CT services will be referred elsewhere.
All other diagnostic services are operating normally.
