A number of northwestern Ontario stores have been added to a massive cucumber recall.
There are fears of a salmonella outbreak involving field cucumbers sold unwrapped or in bulk, or in any in-store produced products, on or before September 8th of this year.
The Canadian Food Inspection Agency has listed various outlets in Thunder Bay, Atikokan, Schreiber, Terrace Bay, Nipigon and Winnipeg.
Officials note affected cucumbers should be thrown out or returned to the store where purchased.
