The Canadian Union of Public Employees is gearing up for the provincial election this fall.
Paul Moist is president of CUPE and was touring the region over the Labor Day weekend.
Moist says CUPE is endorsing the New Democrats, but doesn’t believe any one party will actually form a majority government in October.

He says Ontario has lost thousands of manufacturing jobs in the last four years, and cheaper electricity, especially in northern Ontario could help save some of them.
