Members of the Canadian Union of Public Employees are
getting ready for a possible illegal strike Monday.
Municipal employees who collect garbage, plough snow,
and other various services could walk-out next week, if
the McGuinty government moves forward with OMERS pension
plan legislation.
CUPE Ontario President Sid Ryan says the Premier
obviously doesn’t think much of the union’s members.

School board employees are also included in the CUPE
union, over 100-thousand workers could take part in the
strike.
