The Dryden Ice Dogs dropped a pair of games to the Fort William North
Stars as the SIJHL Regular Season closed over the weekend.
Dryden fell 2-1 in overtime Friday and 5-3 Saturday in Thunder Bay.
The Ice Dogs finished the regular season with a 36-11-1-2 record, 1
point ahead of the second place North Stars.
Dryden forward Nicolos Doiron won the scoring title with 85-points,
while Colin McIntosh and Marlon Gardner rounded out the top 3.
Sunday in the SIJHL, the Thunder Bay Bearcats downed the Bulldogs
10-2.
The first round of the playoffs begin Tuesday, with Dryden and the
North Stars each earning a bye.
