Curtain Opens On Playoffs At Home For Ice Dogs

The Dryden GM Ice Dogs begin their quest for glory Wednesday night and there is a saying in Sports…”to be the man, you got to beat the man!”

The Ice Dogs will have to do just that in their pursuit for their first league title in over eight years.

Dryden GM faces the fifth seed Fort Frances Lakers in the Best-of-7 Semi-Final.

The Lakers defeated Thief River Falls in four games to advance.

Fort Frances has won three consecutive Bill Salonen Cup’s, the last two in Dryden.

Dryden GM hasn’t lost a home game since November 25th, an overtime defeat delivered by the Lakers.

The Ice Dogs won the season series 8-2-1 (one loss was a forfeit for illegal player)

The Dogs have also won 12 in a row.

Game time is 7:30 and all fans are encouraged to wear white.
