Customs service will again be offered at the Dryden Regional Airport.
The service has been in place for 11 years and brings in thousands of
dollars for the Airport in the form of landing, terminal and fuel fees.
Manager George Friesen says National figures indicate visitor traffic
is down 30% but notes they appear to be right on par with previous
years.
n062 runs: 13 sec. out…the airport.
Friesen says small Airports are still lobbying the Federal Government
to secure funding for customs service.
