Cuts At Dryden Fire Service

Cutbacks in the City of Dryden are starting to be felt.
The City has eliminated the Emergency and Education Officer position at the Dryden Fire Service, meaning Captain/Emergency and Education Officer Reagan Breeze is without a job.
Fire Chief Ken Kurz admits it’s going to be a different year.
Kurz stresses they have cut their capital and operating budget as much as they can.
He notes any position losses will affect how they do business.
Council decided last December to keep the Barclay Fire Hall open.
