A three-day fundraising bike ride for the Lake Winnipeg Foundation begins today.
It’s the fourth annual Cycling for Solutions.
The trip will end at the Experimental Lakes Area, west of Vermilion Bay on Sunday.
Roger Mollett is involved in the ride and he says the trek will cover 500-kilometres of land and he says the route is complex just like how the water quality problems within the watershed are complex.
It will include stops in Warroad, Minnesota and Nestor Falls.
A total of 8 cyclists are taking part in the initiative and over 12 thousand dollars was raised last year.
