Damage From Saturday Storm Still Assessed

More damage is being reported from Saturday’s massive wind storm.
The Dryden Fire Service says a large tree blew down on Parr Avenue and crushed a car.
The vehicle was badly damaged but no one was injured.
Debris from a collapsed building on Highway 17 was also spread hundreds of metres by the storm.
Dale Berrey was the lone person inside the old United Rentals building and he wasn’t harmed in the incident.
There are some reports of a microburst in the area at the time, however that hasn’t been confirmed by Environment Canada.
