Damaged Ice Shack

Efforts to restore the Warm Up Shack at the outdoor ice rink in Balmertown have been wasted.
Red Lake OPP say several youth were involved in damaging the shack.
Officers discovered graffiti and burn marks on the walls and ceiling.
Four 15-year-old’s and a 16-year-old boy have been charged as a result.
The Municipality had repainted the shack last winter to make it more enjoyable for skaters.
