As we open up the alphabet book and another weekend arrives there’s going to be lots to see and do in Sunset Country!
On Friday there’s going to be a Health & Wellness Community Dance in Eagle River.
The entire family is invited to attend at the Eagle River RRC Hall. Doors open at 5 o’clock.
Up next – a very important day on Saturday in Dryden to properly dispose of household hazardous materials at a secure depot.
Look around your home and garage over the next couple of days for those materials we don’t want to see in the landfill. Have them properly disposed of at Household Hazardous Waste Collection Day in Dryden.

Wrap up the weekend in Red Lake on Sunday with the Terry Fox Run. What distance will you challenge yourself with?
Fundraising for cancer research continues with the annual event. Head to the Red Lake Pavilion located at 10 Hammell Road for the run. Registration and warm-up will be at 10:00am. Start time is 10:30am. You can choose the route distance you would like to do. 3.5 or 12 kilometres. You can also choose how you would like to complete the route: Walk, Run, Bike, Wheelchair, Rollerblade or Scooter! Dogs on leash all welcome.
