In Loving memory of Daphne Sheila Joy Eddison, age 73, who passed away into the presence of her Lord and Saviour with her family at her side on Sunday, Sept 1, 2013 at DRHC.
Daphne was predeceased by her Grandson Dustin (Dut) Rouillard, 2010, sister Margaret Hughes, 2012 and earlier by her parents Ray and Jenny Norman and in-laws William and Mary Eddison.
Daphne is survived by her husband Doug, her children: Lando (Joy), Don (Lavonne), Hollis (Angela), Whyman (Nancy), Sheena (Murray) of Thunder Bay On, Shawn (Sandra) of Millbrook On, Jackie, Lindy (Eleanor) by 15 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
She was born on April 18, 1940 in Roddickton, Newfoundland. Daphne and Doug were wed on Nov 22, 1955.
Doug and Daphne relocated their family to Dryden in 1979.
Daphne had fought many health issues over the years and was a very strong lady.
Daphne will be missed by her family and friends.
Visitation will be held Tuesday September 3, 2013 from 6:00-8:00 pm
at the Dryden Community Funeral Home Chapel.
A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday September 4, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. at the Full Gospel Church with Pastor Jonathan King officiating.
Interment to follow at the Dryden Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, if friends desire donations can be made to the Diabetes Association through the Dryden Community Funeral Home 249 Government Rd, Dryden, ON P8N 2X3.
