Darrel Birger Hoffstrom

Darrel Birger Hoffstrom passed away peacefully at the age of 67, on Wednesday, November 8, 2006 at the Dryden Regional Health Centre. Darrel is survived by his wife Cindy, children Shawna Pollack (Dave Chapman), Kieth Hoffstrom (Camille) all of Dryden, and Wendy Hoffstrom of Thunder Bay, and 3 grandchildren. Also surviving are his brother Bob (Barb) Hoffstrom of Lantzville, British Columbia, numerous nieces and nephews and his Aunt Violet Smith. Darrel will also be remembered by his step-sons Randy (Debbie) Dickerson of Nanaimo and Kevin (Cori) Dickerson of Port Alberni, B.C. A Memorial Service to celebrate Darrel’s life will be held at the Dryden Community Funeral Home, on Monday November 13, 2006 at 1:00 p.m. with Mr. John Mulders officiating. Interment of ashes will be held at a later date. If friends so desire, donations may be made to the Sick Children’s Hospital (Winnipeg) or a Charity of Choice through Dryden Community Funeral Home, 249 Grand Trunk Ave., Dryden, ON P8N 2X3.
