David Gordon Sioux Lookout Council Profile

After a four year hiatus, David Gordon is hoping to return to the Council table in Sioux Lookout.
Gordon was a Councillor from 2006-2010 as well as the Chief of Lac Seul First Nation.
Gordon says a strategy is needed to address homeless and addictions issues in the community.
He’s also calling for a strategy to work with First Nations.
Gordon says one priority is improving the life of Sioux Lookout residents as well as open up more resource development opportunities.
He notes Council must also address the high cost of policing and lobby the government to change the OPP costing model.
Gordon would also like to work on expanding the local economy around the Meno Ya Win Health Centre.
