Nishnawbe Aski Nation is holding a day of treaty unity today in support of Attawapiskat Chief Theresa Spence.
NAN’s event is coinciding with Idle No More events planned across Canada.
They hope to raise public awareness of the impacts of the federal government’s omnibus budget bill.
NAN is calling on the Prime Minister to have a conversation with First Nations on treaty issues.
