Stefanie Armstrong will not be continuing as interim Economic Development Manager. Ms. Armstrong will be working in partnership with the DDC and the City of Dryden and will maintain her current role as Small Business Consultant for the Northwest Business Centre.
She was named Interim Manager after the sudden resignation last week of Vicki Kurz.
The 2012 Dryden Development Corporation (DDC) workplan was reviewed and approved at a board meeting held on Wednesday. DDC staff is proceeding with projects and daily operations as per direction from the Board and City Manager.
Recruitment efforts for the Economic Development Manager role are currently underway to find the successful candidate to move the DDC forward. Applications are being accepted until January 27, 2012.
In a press release, the DDC and the City say it’s business as usual and ‘full steam ahead.’
