For only the second time this year a tagged great gray owl has been
found in Canada.
The dead bird was found in Downtown Dryden earlier this month and the
Ministry of Natural Resources discovered that the owl was tagged in
Minnesota.
Biologist Lisa Harvey says it’s a significant finding.

Last winter, Minnesota collected more then 750 dead great gray owls
and researchers suggest that a number of birds are migrating to this area.
