The Junior Hockey trade deadline has passed, with the Dryden Ice Dogs and Sioux Lookout Flyers making no moves.
Dogs Coach Clint Mylymock says there were a few things out there, but points out that team’s who were having fire sales were asking too much for 20-year-old’s.
Mylymock says he’s happy with his team.
He notes that they have the ability to be that team to be there in the end and stresses they haven’t fully peaked yet.
There were some moves in the SIJHL before the deadline.
The Thunder Bay North Stars traded Forward Casey Dean to Portage of the Manitoba League for Defenceman Justin Slobozian and acquired Forward Brendan Burge from Revelstoke, B.C.
Wisconsin was very active trading Forward Dawson Kuhlmann to Austin for Joseph Moore.
The Wilderness also acquired Defenceman Andre Rakas from Michigan, Forward Zach Blaisdell from Springfield and Forward Tom Paine from Duluth.
