Deal for Hospital Staff in Atikokan

Staff at Hospitals between Atikokan and Elliot Lake have voted in favour of a new 3-year contract.
Paramedical, nursing and support staff are all impacted.
The deal includes a wage hike of 6% as well as improvements to various benefits and vacation time.
The contract was supported by 73% and takes effect October 11th.
