Deals in Place At Abitibi in Fort Frances

All 3 major Unions at Abitibi-Consolidated’s Fort Frances Mill now
have contracts in place.
Members of both the International Association of Machinists and the
International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers have approved new 5-year
deals.
The more than 300-employees had been without a contract since last
May.
The Communications, Energy and Paperworkers Union ratified a deal
with Abitibi last summer.
