The Keewatin Patricia District School Board has backed
out of a deal to purchase an elementary school property in
Kenora.
The public board was going to pay the Catholic board 300-
thousand dollars for Our Lady of the Valley.
Superintendent of Finance Dean Carrie says they no
longer have use for the property.

Carrie adds they need the money for renovations planned
at the Sioux Lookout High School.
