One person is confirmed dead in a fatal fire in Sioux Lookout.
Emergency crews were called to the blaze at an apartment on First Avenue around 6:00 Thursday morning.
Personnel were able to save three youths from the burning building and neighbouring units were safely evacuated.
However, Provincial Police say one person was found by firefighters dead inside.
Next of kin notifications will be made upon confirmation of the deceased’s identity, and the Fire Marshall has been called in to investigate the cause.
