Debate Over Pay Raise

Dryden Council is coming under some fire from within!
Last month, a raise was accepted for Councilors and Mayor, however the hike was different from what was recommended by a local citizens group.
Councilor Brian England is upset that the passed bylaw was different from the original resolution.
Mayor Sid Wintle agreed the citizens group should have been notified of the changes made to their findings.
Wintle adds Council and City Staff will work together to ensure that the process is improved in the future.
