DeBenedet Named SIJHL Player Of The Month for January

Fort Frances Lakers forward Lucas DeBenedet has been named SIJHL Player of the Month for January.
The 19-year-old picked up six goals and eleven assists in nine games.
Six of his outings were multi-point efforts and he also notched one game-winning goal while setting-up three efforts.
Since rejoining Fort Frances on November 1st, DeBenedet has helped the Lakers go 20-3.
Dryden’s Cole Golka and Dominic Blouin of English River also received consideration.
