The world is watching as the residents of Scotland vote Thursday on whether to separate from Great Britain or not. Polls show that the result is too close to call and that’s also the feeling of one former Thunder Bay resident who now lives in Scotland.
Katherine Shaw won’t say how she plans to vote but says that it can get very tense at times between friends. She says there has been a lot of heated discussions about things people didn’t want to talk in the past.
Shaw says it’s also brought out a lot of national pride that has hardly been seen before.
There are 16 million registered voters for this referendum.
