Decrease In New COVID-19 Cases In Ontario

Ontario is seeing a drop in the number of new COVID-19 cases this weekend.

As of this morning, the province confirmed 294 cases, a drop of about 50 from the previous day. That’s the lowest number of new cases in over a month, when 260 were reported on March 31.

There have been a total of 20,238 confirmed cases, and 14,772 or 73 percent have resolved.

Health officials have confirmed 34 new deaths, for a total of 1,634.
