Hard working and dedicated volunteers from across the Region were
recognized Monday at a Volunteer Service Award ceremony in Dryden.
Minister of Citizenship Michael Chan was on hand to thank 41-volunteers from Dryden, Oxdrift, Ignace, Sioux Lookout and Kenora
Dryden’s Gordan Hatch was recognized for 50-years, while Hank Parks and
Al Slota were thanked for 30-years of service.
Sara Douglas and Alexis Lotsios in Ignace were handed Youth Awards.
Oxdrift’s Joanne Matthews and Stacy Montgomery were recognized, while
James Cosco and Ronald Lemmon were thanked for 40-years in Sioux Lookout.
Kenora’s Lynn Ronnebeck was recognized for 10 years with the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
