Defense took centre stage Tuesday night as the Sioux Lookout Flyers and Fort Frances Lakers were locked in a stalemate in SIJHL action.
AJ Wensley was the only one to find the back of the net, recording the shootout winner as the Flyers defeated the Lakers 1-0 in Fort Frances.
Peter Emery recorded the shutout making 27-saves, while Sioux Lookout peppered 47-shots on the Lakers net.
The Flyers have now won 3 of their last 5.
