The Ministry of Transportation says motorists travelling along Highway 17 west of Kenora can expect 15 to 20 minute delay’s this weekend and the rest of the summer.
Re-paving of a 12km stretch of the Trans-Canada towards Manitoba has begun.
Regional Supervisor Larry Lambert says their biggest concern is making sure motorists slow down in the construction zones.
Another project, the re-paving of the Kenora by-pass is expected to begin shortly.
The total price tag for the work is about $5 million.
