Dennis Brown Looking for a 5-Peat

After more than a decade in office the mayor of Atikokan is still going strong.
Dennis Brown says he’s running for a 5th consecutive term in office.
If elected, Brown says his highest priority is to further economic development in Atikokan.
He notes the areas he wants to focus on are mining, the conversion of the OPG plant to wood pellets and the building of a new arena.
For Council, Gayle Green, Marlene Davidson and Mary Makarenko have thrown their name into the hat.
Mike Lewis is looking for a position on the Rainy-River District School Board.
