Dentist offices and Optometrist offices across the region have been instructed to close by their Associations to stop the spread of COVID-19.
All dental offices in Dryden are closed as of the end of the day Monday.
Emergency procedures will still be conducted.
If it’s an emergency, you can call your dentist office and additional information will be provided or voicemail will be checked.
For optical centres, Dr. Turcotte has now closed her doors until April 6th.
Again if it’s an emergency, procedures will be carried out.
Dr. Turcotte will be checking voicemail and responding to urgent matters.
Dr. Lockyer is taking one day to prepare for a closure.
The office will be open Tuesday but closed on Wednesday.
Again a message will be provided guiding you on how you can receive emergency care.
The moves are being made to help control the spread of the growing virus.
As for emergency care, it’s being provided to help reduce traffic to hospitals and ease the burden on the health care sector.
All providers thank the public for their understanding.
