Details Of Winnipeg Scam

Don’t give cash to someone you don’t know.
That’s the message from Dryden Police following an attempted scam in Winnipeg.
Police say a local woman was at the Polo Park Mall and was approached by a woman who said she was from Devlin.
The scammer found out the woman was from Dryden and asked for money, but she refused.
Police say one of their officers was approached a couple of years ago at the Health Sciences Centre and a similar situation occurred.
