A Thunder Bay-based regional airline is suing an aboriginal-owned
competitor, alleging it lost business as the result of hacking into its
reservation network.
NAC Air filed a statement of claim against Wasaya Airways and one of
its managers.
NAC asks for 7-million dollars for economic losses, trespassing and
misappropriation of property.
An official with Wasaya declined to speak to the allegations in the
statement of claim.
The lawsuit claims that NAC Air has been forced to cancel services,
reduce the frequency of some flights, terminate aircraft leases and lay off
employees.
