A milestone achievement for a member of the Dryden Police Service.
Detective Sergeant Janet Kaus has received the 20-year Exemplary Service Medal.
The DPS says Detective Sergeant Kaus sets high standards, strives for excellence and the service is very fortunate to have her as part of the team.
Due to COVID-19, a formal ceremony was not held but Chief Doug Palson was able to present the award to Detective Sergeant Kaus.
The Police Exemplary Service Medal is issued by the Governor General of Canada and is awarded to Police Officers who have 20 years of Exemplary Service with one or more recognized Canadian Police Services.
