An anti racism committee is being formed in Dryden.
It’s spearheaded by Mardi Plomp, who says right now they are still in the early development stage.
Plomp says the main focus of their meeting last night was determining their mission statement, which is “to encourage a better understanding of one another”.
She says that they are establishing the committee, but that anyone who is interested in joining is welcome.
The committee plans on meeting once a month.
