A Devlin man has been fined $2,500 for a variety of offences.
The fine is a result of an incident in the Rainy-River District back in December 2009.
Conservation officers were patrolling Fleming Road and stopped Daniel Rea.
Rea had a rifle slung over his shoulder and admitted it was loaded but he refused to hand it over.
Rea was arrested and charged for having a loaded firearm on a vehicle, obstructing a conservation officer and driving a snowmobile without insurance.
