The long wait is finally over for the Dryden Eagles Girls High School Hockey team.
The Eagles open a new season at home Tuesday night against the Sioux North Warriors.
Dryden has been spending the past few weeks trying to prepare through practice, exhibition games and a tournament south of the border.
The Warriors have one game under their belt, a loss last week in Kenora.
Game time is 6:30 at the Memorial Arena.
