Members of the Dryden High School Arts Council are headed home Sunday following a whirlwind tour of New York City.
The students soaked in the entire culture of the Big Apple and Kennedy Cook says she leaves with lasting memories.
Cook notes Dryden is great for Arts, however, the cultural opportunities are elevated when you visit a City like New York.
She says it was an amazing experience and she’s glad the trip happened.
On Friday, the group enjoyed the Broadway show ‘Come From Away’, the musical depicting the true story of what transpired when 38 planes were ordered to land unexpectedly in the small town of Gander, Newfoundland as part of Operation Yellow Ribbon during the 9/11 terrorist attacks.
On the final day Saturday, the students went to the Rockefeller Center and took in the Broadway Show ‘The Great Comet of 1812 at the Imperial Theatre.
