DHS Eagles Take Home Silver In Weekend Games

The Dryden Eagles Boys Hockey Team captured Silver on Saturday losing 3-1 to the Fort Frances Muskies in the AAA/AAAA Dryden High School Championship Game. Kirk Markowski scored the lone goal for the Eagles. Dryden earned the championship berth finishing first in round robin play by defeating Saint Thomas Aquinas 2-1, Beaver Brae 6-2 losing 2-1 to Fort Frances. Dryden now takes on Beaver Brae at home Tuesday night at 6:30 before heading to Brandon this weekend for the Victoria Inn Hockey Tournament. Dryden’s record now stands at 7-4 for the season.
