DHS Girls into the Medal Round in Sudbury

Final 4 for the Dryden Eagles Senior Girls Volleyball Team.

The Eagles beat the Confederation Crusaders from Sudbury in the Quarter-Finals at OFSAA and advance to the medal round.

Dryden is now guaranteed a medal at OFSAA – a FIRST for DHS Girls Volleyball.

The Eagles won a thrilling opening set 27-25, before downing the Crusaders in front of their own fans 25-18.

Dryden takes on Franco-Cite, a team that lost only 1 set during the tournament.

Franco-City downed St.Pauls in the Quarters 25-10, 25-23.

In other quarter-final play, #1 General Amherst knocked off Ernestown 25-19, 30-28.

Centre Hastings unseated defending champion Governor Simco 25-14, 25-22.

Semi-Finals go at 2 PM Central – Mike Ebbeling will report live from Sudbury. Eagles have yet to lose a set at OFSAA.
