DHS Grad One Week Away

Traditional graduation ceremonies are back after a two year hiatus due to the pandemic.

Dryden High School grad is Friday, June 24 at the Memorial Arena.

Cindy Palermo, Paige Atwood and Kira Apland were guests on the CKDR Morning Show Thursday to promote the event.

Palermo says, “We have over 100 students who are graduating. They all have family members and friends they would like to attend. Students have been given 8 tickets for floor seating at the Arena.”

She adds, “Anyone who has family members or friends beyond 8, we always have had available the arena seats, the stands, for them as well. The whole procedure goes from 11:30 a.m., I’ve typically had it done in two hours.”

Palermo states, “1:30 it should be done and then the students will march up Albert Street all the way to the high school for the traditional cap toss. We have Michelle Hill, one of our professional local photographers, will be taking grad photos.”

She says all pictures will be available for download.
