Some of Dryden’s top young minds have been recognized.
Dryden High School held its annual Honour Roll Breakfast today at the Centre.
Principal Kathy McConnachie a student in grade 9 and 10 needs to have at least an 80% average across 8 credits.
Grade 11 and 12 students need achieve at least 80% across 6 credits.
McConnachie says a total of 279 students made honour roll last school year.
She says one-third of their students maintain honour roll status, noting that’s on par with the provincial average.
McConnachie stresses that these students are not only making a difference in the classroom, they are actively involved in the community.
Top marks:
Grade 9: Alissa Duchesne-95% and David Marshall-95.38%
Grade 10: Regan Neall-96.75% and Jake Wickstron-96.29%
Grade 11: Hannah Keefe-96% and Devon Duchesne-97.50%
Grade 12: Alana Benson-98.33% and Brendan Fishwick-93.67%
