DHS Recognizes Top Athletes

In 2006, they were named the top rookies at Dryden High School.
Last night, Jay Tremonti and Tamara Duncan were honored as the top athletes for 2009.
Tremonti, who has signed on to play Volleyball with the University of Toronto says its an amazing feeling.
Tremonti says to be included on a list of some great names is an amazing honour.
Duncan, who will be playing Basketball with Lakehead U next year, says she had plenty of support from her teammates.
Both stressed it will be hard to leave Dryden High because it’s home, stating there’s nothing better then Eagles’ athletics.
Rookie of the Year Honours went to Morgan Church and Kevin Gardam.
Sportspeople of the Year Award’s went to Trisha Graf and Michael Medwid.
