DHS Sweeps Past Kenora

It was a clean sweep for the Dryden Eagles on home court Thursday
as the Blue and Gold hosted the Kenora Broncos in NORWOSSA Girls
Volleyball and Boys Basketball.
Dryden’s Senior and Junior Volleyball teams had no trouble with the
Broncos, as both clubs won in straight sets.
In Basketball, Steven Laidlaw was the hero for the Eagles as he
hit a 3-point shot just before the buzzer, to lead the Seniors past
Kenora 64-61.
The Juniors survived a scare beating Kenora 33-31.
Dryden had built up a 21-6 halftime lead.
The Eagles next action is next Thursday in Fort Frances.
