A group of Dryden area residents are feeling optimistic after a meeting with the Regional Health Authority and Government officials.
Ed Arnold is one of those leading the push to get a Dialysis Unit at the Dryden Regional Health Centre.
Arnold says the powers-that-be seemed to be receptive to their presentation.
A report will be sent to the Minister of Health before the end of the year.
The group also made the pitch to Hospital officials claiming that traveling to outlying communities is a hardship for too many patients.
