Different Approach To Dreaded Interviews

A different experience at Dryden High School.
Staff tried something new Wednesday for the first round of parent-teacher interviews.
Principal Kathy McConnachie says they opened the school up to the public.
McConnachie says they wanted to engage students and parents and encourage them to attend the interviews.
A number of outside agencies were on hand to meet with the public.
Confederation College, Contact North, Dryden Police and Provincial Police were among those in attendance.
McConnachie notes the event was also held to raise awareness of school activities.
She says it was a success as hundreds of people flocked to the school.
