A major loss for the Dryden Ice Dogs.
The SIJHL club has lost forward Beau Diloreto for the remainder of the season.
The 19-year-old was injured in Tuesday’s 5-4 shootout loss to Fort Frances when he crashed into the end boards.
Diloreto is having surgery on his broken ankle today in Thunder Bay and a source close to his family says he will be out for the remainder of the year.
The feisty forward had 10-points in 42-games with the Ice Dogs.
